Fix for WME9 Batch Encoder working on Vista
I recently tried running the Windows Media Batch Encoder on my Vista machine, and I got the dreaded “Application has stopped working” error message. After searching around a bit, I found a link on a Microsoft page that fixes this problem. I downloaded and installed the fix, and now I’m back to running WME batch encoder again. So if you have problems getting WME9 running on your Vista machine, try downloading the hot fix supplied by Microsoft.
